White interlock provides full opacity and a smooth, matte surface. In the hand, it feels soft, substantial, and distinctly resilient. Its compact construction looks good in a laid-out piece, and when lifted, the fabric forms gentle folds. White can be used alone or combined with contrasting panels. Matte white can be paired with light pastels or combined with black, navy, and saturated colors. The width is 160 cm.

Drape, opacity, and comfort

The knit is made from 80% polyamide and 20% spandex. It stretches in two directions, is highly elastic, and recovers its original shape after stretching. The dense, double-sided construction gives this interlock medium thickness and noticeable weight, while at 210 GSM the fabric still retains a soft hand. Full opacity is particularly important in the white version and allows the smooth surface to be confidently displayed over larger areas. The fabric feels pleasant against the skin and cool to the touch. Its fluid drape and ability to form folds can be assessed by lifting a larger piece and letting it fall freely. The interlock holds its shape well, and its stability is useful when laying it flat. The smooth knit leaves both the shade itself and the course of the seams visible. The knit is suitable for leggings, athletic tops, and long-sleeve shirts, among other uses, while its year-round character allows it to be considered for different seasons.

Cutting, sewing, and finishing

For hems, assess several folded layers beforehand because their combined thickness will affect the finished edge's appearance. Use this stretch deliberately by choosing a pattern intended for stretch fabrics. A stitched scrap lets you check how the seam behaves under stretch and whether its movement matches the knit. Softness should also be considered in finishes: an edge sample will show how several joined layers lie. For narrow bindings, assess the trim color on a small piece, while for larger panels, compare broader samples. Choosing proportions this way helps plan the join's appearance before cutting. Place the pattern pieces on freely resting fabric, supporting sections beyond the work surface. Maintain its natural dimensions during measuring and cutting. Choose the intended use together with the appropriate fit and finishing method.

Care and durability

The interlock retains its color and shape well after washing. Low shrinkage helps maintain dimensions, while a low tendency to wrinkle makes everyday care easier. The fabric resists abrasion, stretching out, and frequent washing. It also has an anti-pilling finish intended to limit surface pilling.
