This beige interlock in beige feels cool to the touch and slides softly between the fingers. It has a smooth, matte surface and a substantial hand. It can be laid flat, gathered, or allowed to fall freely. Its softness matters in each arrangement, as does its distinct resilience when stretched.

Surface, hand, and construction

The dense interlock construction is compact and double-knit. At 210 GSM, the fabric has medium thickness and a substantial hand. Beige can be paired with ecru, brown, and muted green. Black creates a more distinct combination, while adjacent shades of beige produce a subtler transition. The matte appearance remains a quality of the knit itself. This allows you to assess how the fabric lies and the thickness of the join. The fabric is 160 cm wide. Shape retention is also useful during the fabric's repeated movement under tension.

Stretch and recovery

The fabric contains 80% polyamide and 20% spandex. It has high stretch in two directions, and the interlock returns to its original shape after stretching. Seam joins should retain the necessary stretch.

Drape, opacity, and comfort

The knit provides full opacity. The interlock drapes well and falls fluidly. It holds its shape and remains stable on a flat surface. For gathered pieces, compare several fold depths before securing them with stitching. Its gentle feel against the skin can be used in pieces that remain in direct contact with it. It can be used for tops, blouses, and leggings, among other uses. It is intended for year-round use.

Cutting, sewing, and finishing

For double-layer finishes, check how several layers lie at the edge and whether this matches the intended effect. Comparing samples in daylight is helpful for such combinations. Check the color's appearance both across a large area and on a narrow strip that will be visible in the finish. When choosing a style, account for the fabric's behavior on a sample. Excessive stretching during measuring changes the size of the piece being cut, so place pattern pieces on freely laid-out knit. Plan the arrangement of pieces with seam allowances, making sure the fabric length is supported on the table. For longer panels, dimensions are easier to maintain when all the knit rests freely. Before sewing, prepare a sample with the same number of layers as the intended area. Use it to check stitch appearance, the join's stretch, and how the edge lies.

Care and durability

The interlock retains its color and shape well after washing, has low shrinkage, and wrinkles little. It resists abrasion, distortion, and frequent washing. The applied anti-pilling finish helps reduce surface pilling.
