The compact, dense, double-sided construction gives this interlock a substantial hand that remains clearly noticeable at 210 GSM. Light blue can be combined with white, gray, or dark navy. Each combination distributes contrast differently, so notions and accessories are best chosen beside an actual piece of fabric.

Drape, opacity, and comfort

The composition is 80% polyamide and 20% spandex. The interlock stretches extensively in two directions and returns to its original shape when relaxed. The fluid knit is easily shaped into folds. These are two important aspects when working with the fabric: softness allows it to be arranged freely, while shape retention helps maintain the intended proportions. The fabric provides full opacity even in a light color, so the smooth surface can be confidently displayed over larger areas. A cool touch complements the gentle, skin-friendly hand. It is suitable for year-round use, including tops, long-sleeve shirts, and yoga clothing.

Cutting, sewing, and finishing

Before cutting draped pieces, arrange a trial using a larger piece and assess the depth and spacing of the folds. For hems and areas with several layers, check the bulk of the edge beforehand so the finish remains proportionate to the knit's substantial body. This quality is worth considering when choosing a pattern and stitch. A test seam should also include stretching the joined layers: this will allow you to assess whether the seam has enough stretch and retains an even appearance. The matte look and smooth surface keep the color clearly visible even in simple pieces. Blue can occupy a large part of the design or appear in a narrow panel. Make use of the 160 cm width by planning large pieces and smaller finishes together. During cutting, the fabric should lie freely. Supporting the section hanging beyond the table will help maintain its position.

Care and durability

It remains stable when laid flat and recovers its shape well after stretching. The interlock is distinguished by resistance to frequent washing, abrasion, and stretching out. The anti-pilling finish is intended to limit surface pilling. After washing, the knit retains its shape and color and has low shrinkage. A low tendency to wrinkle helps maintain a smooth appearance even when the fabric is used frequently.
