This cream pearl knit feels soft, delicate, and resilient. It has a smooth, matte surface and a dense, compact construction. At a medium thickness, it provides full opacity. It drapes well, falls fluidly, and maintains a stable shape.

A smooth matte face and looped interior

The fabric contains 97% cotton and 3% spandex; its weight is 280 GSM. It feels pleasant against the skin. The sweatshirt knit's looped reverse can be compared with the smooth side when turning back an edge. In the folded detail, also assess the feel of several layers. A hem sample with allowances shows the join's thickness, particularly where seams intersect.

Stretch with shape retention

The knit stretches and recovers its original shape well. Compare the actual swatch's stretch with the style's requirements before choosing ease. The fluid drape is best viewed on a larger section arranged loosely in a fold. The fabric remains stable. Test-sew with the selected trim to assess the entire edge's stretch and behavior after tension is released.

A cream tone with light trims

Cream pearl can be paired with beige, taupe, or dark brown. For white or cream ribbing, compare shades directly because a slight difference shows across a larger area. The ribbing also introduces a different texture. The fabric suits year-round blouses, pants, bathrobes, hats, and children's designs. When finishing them, preserve the seam's softness on the side facing the body. A sample lets you check the completed join's feel and the bulk of folded seam allowances.

Cutting and checking multilayer edges

The fabric is 170 cm wide. Arrange pattern pieces on the relaxed knit with seam and hem allowances. Support the section extending beyond the tabletop to preserve natural dimensions. Before sewing, prepare a sample of an area where several layers and seam allowances converge. It will allow you to assess edge thickness, stitch selection, and the join's movement. The smooth appearance of the outer side can be used in solid-color designs. For finishes, choose the hem width after examining a test fold, especially when a thicker edge will touch the skin or cross several seams. For an exposed turnback, inspect the loops along the stitching and the width of the visible wrong side.

Color and shape retention after washing

The French terry has been given a silicone finish. It resists frequent washing and retains its color and shape afterward. Resistance to pilling, abrasion, stretching out, and distortion is useful during regular use. The fabric has low shrinkage.
