The French terry construction features a looped inner side distinct from the smooth right side. For an exposed turnback, view both textures in the intended proportions. A folded-edge sample also shows layer thickness and the feel of the area containing seam allowances.

Resilient stretch and a relaxed fall

The knit has elastic stretch and good recovery after tension is released. Check the swatch's stretch before choosing a style and the ease needed. Soft folds can be assessed on a larger section arranged loosely beyond the table's flat surface. The fabric remains stable. Include trim and stitching in a test join to assess the finished edge's stretch and appearance after release.
