Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: May 27, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using fabricsonline.com. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

1. About Us

fabricsonline.com is operated by Fabrics Online, a company registered in Ontario, Canada, with its principal place of business at 3230 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4N 3P6. You can reach us at info@fabricsonline.com or +1 647 405 1700.

2. Eligibility

By using our website, you confirm that you are of the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Products

All fabrics on fabricsonline.com are sold by the meter. The quantity you enter at checkout represents the number of meters you wish to purchase. Fabric is cut as a continuous length — we do not sell in separate, non-continuous pieces unless otherwise stated.

We make every effort to display product colors and textures accurately on our website. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor's calibration. We cannot guarantee that the color you see on screen will exactly match the physical fabric. If color accuracy is critical to your project, we recommend ordering a sample before placing a larger order.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to discontinue products at any time.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. For customers in the United States, the applicable exchange rate will be applied at checkout.

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.

We reserve the right to cancel any order where a pricing error has occurred. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund if payment has already been collected.

5. Order Confirmation and Cancellation

Once your order is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — it is an acknowledgment that we have received it. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Because fabric is cut to order, orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they have been processed for cutting. Please review your order carefully before confirming your purchase.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped from our warehouse in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping costs, options, and estimated timelines are detailed on our Shipping & Delivery page. Risk of loss and title for purchased items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

7. Returns and Refunds

Our return and refund policy is detailed on our Return & Refund page, which forms part of these Terms. Because fabric is a cut-to-order product, returns are accepted only in specific circumstances, including defective merchandise or significant discrepancy from the product description.

8. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep product descriptions, pricing, and availability information accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that such information is complete, reliable, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update information at any time without notice.

9. User Accounts

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our website to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive conduct

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fabrics Online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, our website or products — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable order.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and products are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of the products or content on our site, except as required by applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For residents of Quebec, certain provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) may apply and take precedence over these terms where required by law.
