At FabricsOnline.com, we are dedicated to providing high-quality textiles for your projects. Because the majority of our products are cut specifically to your custom requirements, our return policy is outlined strictly below. Please review this carefully before placing your order.

1. "Final Sale" policy on cut fabric

To ensure we can offer specific cuts and minimize waste, all fabric sales are final. Once an order has been placed and the fabric has been cut from the bolt, we are unable to accept refunds, cancellations, or exchanges. This applies to:

  • Cut-to-order fabrics (by the metre/yard).

  • Remnants and clearance items.

  • Digital patterns.

2. Issues with your Order (defects & errors)

While we inspect every cut, mistakes can occasionally happen. If you receive an incorrect item, or if the fabric has a significant manufacturer defect:

  • Notification: Please contact us at info@tanganatextiles.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Resolution: We will work with you to replace the item or issue a refund. We may ask for photos of the defect to verify the issue for our records.

  • Condition: The fabric must be unwashed and uncut by you to be eligible for a claim.

3. Colour accuracy & swatches

We strive to represent our fabrics as accurately as possible. We photograph our inventory in natural light and write detailed descriptions to assist you.

However, we cannot guarantee that the colour on your screen will match the actual fabric exactly.

  • Variation: Every monitor and mobile display renders colour, brightness, and contrast differently.

  • Recommendation: If a specific colour match is critical for your project, we strongly recommend ordering a Sample/Swatch from the product page before purchasing yardage. Variations in colour are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.

4. Fabric care & laundering

We provide care instructions based on the information given to us by our suppliers and manufacturers.

  • Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to follow these care instructions.

  • Washing: We cannot accept returns or liability for fabric that has been damaged, shrunk, or altered during the washing, drying, or ironing process. We recommend testing a small swatch if you are unsure how the fabric will behave.
