This beige single jersey made from cotton, Tencel Lyocell, and elastane has a smooth matte surface and a very soft, pleasant hand. The knit is lightweight, breathable, and drapes well on the body. Thanks to its high elasticity, it stretches in two directions and returns well to its original shape after stretching.

Soft, smooth surface

The fabric is composed of 47% cotton, 47% Tencel Lyocell, and 6% elastane. This fiber blend creates a soft, delicate hand that works well for garments worn close to the skin. The smooth matte surface suits simple styles where the line of the cut and the way the fabric falls remain clearly visible.

The knit is stable while also remaining fluid and easy to drape. It falls softly over larger areas without losing its shape. Full opacity gives more freedom when designing tops, T-shirts, dresses, or bodysuits without limiting the fabric to layered styles only.

Two-way stretch

The 6% elastane content provides high stretch in two directions. The material adapts well to the body and returns to shape after stretching. This resilience is particularly useful in fitted tops, bodysuits, children's leggings, and other garments that move regularly during wear.

When sewing, it is worth choosing a seam that preserves the elasticity of the knit and moves together with the fabric. A test sample made before the final sewing allows you to check how the seam behaves under stretch and how it looks once the fabric returns to its original shape.

A lightweight knit for everyday and fitted styles

According to the technical data, the fabric weighs 160 GSM and is 180 cm wide. This width gives plenty of room for arranging larger pattern pieces. The knit is suitable for T-shirts, tops, blouses, tunics, and dresses, as well as pajamas, underwear, and loungewear.

The material can also be used for children's clothing, including T-shirts, dresses, skirts, pajamas, and leggings. In activewear, it is suitable for yoga clothing and other lightweight, stretchy garments.

Beige on a smooth matte surface

The solid beige shade highlights the smooth single jersey structure and allows the soft drape of the material to remain visible. The calm color can be used across the entire garment or combined with other neutral shades. The matte finish keeps the appearance understated without adding extra sheen.

Finishing and durability

The surface has been treated with enzyme and silicone finishes. The knit is resistant to frequent washing, stretching, and deformation, and it retains its shape well during use. It also has low shrinkage and a low tendency to wrinkle.

Care

The fabric retains its color and shape well after washing. According to the product data, it can be washed at temperatures up to 30°C. Do not bleach or dry clean. The maximum ironing temperature is 110°C.
