This black sweatshirt knit has a dense, compact construction and a very substantial hand. The smooth right side is matte, while the reverse is looped. The fabric remains soft and delicate to the touch. It holds its shape well, while a larger section drapes gently despite its noticeable weight.

Softness and knit construction

The sweatshirt knit is made from 100% cotton. The weight is 580 GSM. The knit's thickness and substance are noticeable in a single layer, and folding increases the edge's bulk. The fabric provides full opacity. For hems, test a sample at a seam intersection. This allows you to choose the finish width and assess the join's thickness from the inside.

Matte black with different textures

Black can be paired with white, gray, or a brightly colored trim. When comparing black fabrics, view actual swatches side by side, since matte sweatshirt knit will look different from ribbed trim. Assess the trim width by holding a strip against the fabric. The sweatshirt knit is suitable for year-round use in sweatshirts, pants, and children's clothing.
